“Investment SHEroes optimally prepares women for financing rounds and promotes their access to relevant networks,” explains Vera Zimmermann, board member of DIGITALHUB.DE. The program offers intensive coaching sessions, pitch training, and individual mentoring formats. The aim is to give women's start-up projects a decisive boost. Sandra Speer, Head of the enaCom Transfer Center at the University of Bonn, adds: “The Investment SHEroes program supports women exactly where they need it most. They receive intensive coaching and mentoring in the areas of negotiation skills, investor outreach, financial planning, and pitch training. This ties in perfectly with our EXIST Women program here at the University of Bonn and is ideal for all EXIST Women alumnae.”
For female founders with a digital business model
Over a period of 12 weeks (May 15 to August 15), participants will have a place in the DIGITALHUB.DE co-working space and receive practical workshops and individual coaching. They will learn, for example, how to create a good pitch deck, how to refine their financial plans, how to approach investors in the best way, and how to perform well in negotiations and cross-examinations. At the end, they will have the chance to give a final pitch on the big stage of the Startup Open Air Festival on August 27.
All female founders or diverse teams with a product that is already on the market are eligible to apply. The product should be a digital business model and be in the early stage/pre-seed/seed phase. The company must be based in Germany, as the program includes in-person components in Bonn. The application deadline is April 20.
