Launch of the joint platform "gruenderspot.de" for founders in Bonn-Rhein-Sieg

Gruenderspot.de is the new internet platform for founders in Bonn-Rhein-Sieg an part of a joint start-up project by the University of Bonn, University of Applied Sciences Bonn-Rhein-Sieg and DIGITALHUB.DE. The information and communication platform provides expertise on offers for those interested in founding and serves as a virtual exchange and meeting place for the regional startup scene. "Gruenderspot.de establishes uncomplicated access to our network with the goal of bringing together the region's bright minds and making their startup ideas known," says Benita Schuba, deputy department head of the Transfer Center enaCom, whose startup consultants manage the platform for the university.

In Bonn and the surrounding area, there are various attractive opportunities for professional support during the founding of a startup. Because the diverse ecosystem of scientific institutions, strong corporations, leading investors and globally active business and financial companies offers young founders a broad network for knowledge exchange and valuable support. Key drivers of the regional startup scene include the University of Bonn, Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences and DIGITALHUB.DE. "The primary goal of Gruenderspot.de is to bundle the startup knowledge of the entire Bonn-Rhein-Sieg region on a single platform and to offer a virtual contact point for founders and those interested in starting a business," says Sophia Tran, partner and authorized signatory of DIGITALHUB.DE.

The three startup players in the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg region have launched the joint startup project Gruenderspot.de so that young founders can access all the services they need at one click, such as startup consulting, coworking or funding. There, prospective founders can not only view current programs, but also exchange information with successful founders from the Bonn startup scene in the "Forum" and the "Virtual Meeting Point". The platform also offers regular workshops and events where founders can learn from experts and network with companies. In addition, visitors can use the "Startup Ecomap" to view all the contact points in the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg region on a map with the categories startups, university and sponsors. The startup project is funded by EXIST 'Potentiale heben' program of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
