The startup coaches from enaCom provided information about the university's startup services at their booth and took the opportunity to hold many talks with interested parties and network partners. In addition to the Transfer Center, numerous startups that emerged from the University of Bonn presented themselves, such as Taxpeer GmbH, aimed analytics GmbH, ATHLY, WerksHub, and DynamoBot GmbH. Many students who had attended the University of Bonn's Startup Summer School a week earlier took the opportunity to make their first contacts in the startup scene at the event.
The program also offered professional inspiration: Prof. Denise Fischer-Kreer (Institute for Entrepreneurship at the University of Bonn) discussed with Fabian Mantsch (Taxpeer GmbH) the path from university to entrepreneurship and the skills required to make it happen. Prof. Hendrik Streeck, Director of Virology at the University Hospital Bonn and member of the German Bundestag, addressed in his keynote speech the topic of media addiction in children and highlighted the role played by society, parents, and politics in this context. “Startup Open Air 2025 was thus a successful platform for linking research, teaching, and entrepreneurial practice and strengthening the visibility of startup activities at the University of Bonn,” said startup coach Dr. Alexander Küsshauer, delighted with the lively participation and many interesting discussions.
