During the Job Talk, Dr. Kathrin Manthei will provide insights into her work as head of sustainability management at Duisburger Baugesellschaft GEBAG mbH, one of the oldest housing associations in Germany and part of the Duisburg Climate Pact.

In this position, Dr. Manthei is responsible for the building society's sustainability and climate strategy. Her responsibilities also include the development and implementation of sustainability reporting and the calculation of decarbonisation pathways for the company.

Before joining GEBAG, Dr. Manthei worked as a professor for business administration and sustainability management at the Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln and as a postdoctoral researcher in the DFG research group "Design and Behaviour - Economic Engineering of Firms and Markets" at the University of Cologne.
