International Staff Week at the University of Bonn May 13–17, 2024
The University of Bonn will be hosting an International Staff Week again in May 2024. This event will focus on discussions with guests from our partner universities about the various new strategies currently being explored by higher education institutions in terms of service provision for various groups and the challenges presented by an increasingly complex and digitalized environment.
Topic: New Approaches to Services for Students and Staff at Universities
How can information and processes be made transparent and intuitive for all status groups? How can teaching and administrative staff obtain the information they need quickly and easily? What services do early-career researchers, newly appointed researchers and international researchers and students need? What are the needs of today’s students in terms of information and services?
The Staff Week aims to provide a platform for exchange on these and other questions with colleagues from other countries and the University of Bonn. The University of Bonn will also present a range of its services to students, scientists and staff.
The Staff Week offers its participants the opportunity to get to know the University of Bonn, which was founded in 1818 and has been a University of Excellence since 2019, and its home in the “UN city” of Bonn. They can look forward to a varied program and the opportunity to job shadow within our University.
The International Staff Week addresses specifically staff members of our partner universities who provide services to students and researchers and who are willing to make an active contribution to this event.
