If you are looking to obtain teaching qualifications or advice on specific elements in your teaching concept, the Bonn Center for Higher Education (BZH) helps lecturers, student tutors and mentors to structure their teaching and offers numerous workshops as well as courses, certification programs, advice, downloads and other services.
University teaching qualification for lecturers
Courses and advice on designing teaching / learning scenarios for all University of Bonn teaching staff, including contract lecturers.
University teaching qualification for tutors and mentors
University teaching workshops for student tutors and mentors.
NRW-Certificate for lecturers
Information about and registration for the NRW-Certificate in “Professionelle Lehrkompetenz für die Hochschule" (Professional Teaching Competences for Higher Education).
Certification program for students
Tutors and mentors interested in university teaching topics can follow the certification program at the University of Bonn and obtain a tutoring certificate.
Self-study materials in Confluence
Lecturers will find useful teaching materials for their teaching concept in our section in Confluence, including our methodology collection, our learning objectives tool, our glossary of university teaching and much more.
It can be accessed in BONNET using your Uni-ID or via VPN.
Open Educational Resources
Information and services relating to open educational resources (OER), open licenses for educational materials and OER repositories.
