#Hack4BestCX: How can you and ML help to further enhance prediction models at Telekom?

Deutsche Telekom, the Transfer Center enaCom at the University of Bonn and the Lamarr Institute for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence are looking for innovative and unconventional solutions to this question at the #Hack4BestCX hackathon to improve Customer Experience (CX). The #Hack4BestCX takes place on 1st March 2024, 9.30 a.m. – 8 p.m., in Bonn at Telekom Campus.

Who can participate?

We invite all Master's students and young scientists (PhDs and Post-Docs) from the University of Bonn and the Lamarr Institute for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence with affinity for and a background in machine learning or modeling. You can participate individually or in a team with up to 4 persons.

However, all team members must still register individually.

Don’t miss it and register directly - latest by 25th February - in order to secure your place as participant in our hackathon.

What's in for you?

  • Network with Telekom Data Scientists and look behind the scenes at Telekom.
  • The winners will receive vouchers worth up to 250 EUR.
  • All participants will receive exclusive goodies.
  • Of course, participation is free of charge.

What is Hack4BestCX all about?

Thanks to predictive maintenance, we can easily check the status of diverse net components and detect disruptions at an early stage. To this end, many sensors within the network infrastructure generate huge amounts of data. By using artificial intelligence, for instance, a specific threshold value can be set at which the system triggers an alarm. This enables us to quickly react to problems and to intervene remotely or on-site in no time.

At #Hack4BestCX your team will work on a specific challenge within one day being supported by Deutsche Telekom data scientists and based on Telekom's operating- and performance data. The aim is to develop prediction models which recognize failures or deviations in the net performance as precisely as possible. Rather than developing a finished product, the aim of the hackathon is to generate an idea or concept based on out-of-the-box thinking of the various talents comprised in small teams on-site at the Telekom premises in Bonn.
