Basics of Patent Law

The invention of new technology is of great importance to science. This is what makes legal protection against unauthorized use by third parties in the form of a patent (national or even international) important. This webinar offers a brief, general introduction to the major kinds of intellectual property rights and compares them to one another. It then shifts focus to patents and the patenting process. The requirements an invention must meet in order to be patented is regulated by law. This webinar introduces attendees to these basic requirements of patentability along with the limits of patent protection.
