Design Thinking

A workshop offered by the Human Resources Development

Design thinking is a creativity method developed at Stanford University that has played a significant role in shaping Silicon Valley. At its core, it involves an innovation process with the factors of visualization, co-creativity, iteration and empathy, as well as an attitude that is focused on people. While in the USA it is used almost as a matter of course not only in business but also in science, most researchers in Germany are not yet well aware of the advantages of this innovation technique and it is not yet extensively established within the administration either. Yet design thinking is very applicable for new developments and outstanding research.
