Description
This course is open to everyone. No prior knowledge is necessary.
It is also not necessary to have HPC access beforehand.
Content
- Using the command line
- The ideas behind concepts like users, files, processes and permission
- Navigating the Linux directory structure
- Handling text and other files from the console
- Using a console text editor (vim or nano)
- A brief introduction automating tasks with shell scripting
