Description

The acquisition of third-party funding is becoming more and more prevalent in the daily
work of researchers. In the first part of the workshop, you will get an overview of different
research funding organisations, like the German Research Foundation, the ministries, the
EU, various foundations and their individualised programmes. You will learn about the
differences between the funding organisations, especially with regard to their structure
and programmes. Various databases, specifically for searching available funding, will be
introduced to you and we can begin your search for funding during this seminar!

So, now you have found your appropriate funding organisation, let's look at mastering
grant applications. This second part of the workshop will focus on the essential four
phases for a successful proposal. Professional advice surrounding the development,
planning, writing and final phase will be given.
