In the basic training course, you will acquire the key skills you need to use AI tools safely, responsibly, and in compliance with legal requirements—from the basics of generative AI and risk assessment to effective prompting.
In-person Workshop
Friday, January 30, 2026
09:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
This training is part of the university-wide AI Literacy training initiative (EU AI Fit) and is mandatory under the EU AI Act if you wish to use AI tools such as KIWIS or other generative AI systems at the university.
The aim of the training is to teach basic skills in the legally and data protection-compliant use of AI.
Participation will be confirmed with a certificate of attendance, which serves as proof for your manager.
Alternatively, you can also complete the required content flexibly as e-learning via the AI Campus (currently only available in German).
Further information on the training drive and e-learning courses can be found on Confluence.
