We invite you to a one-day intercultural workshop in English on the topic of “Arriving in another country – coping with uncertainties.” This interactive workshop will prepare you for experiences in an international and intercultural context. You will have the opportunity to reflect on your own everyday intercultural interactions and discuss previous moments of culture shock and possible culturally sensitive strategies for dealing with them.

Target group: all interested students

Focus: Preparation for studying in Germany, exchange of experiences with culture shock and different intercultural teaching and learning systems working with real case studies.

Students completing the seminar are credited 20 points toward the D1 component for the Certificate of Intercultural Competency.
