Description
- You start with a check-up of the individual framework conditions of your doctoral thesis, analyse your motivation and review your scientific skills.
- The second block focuses on the supervisory relationship. You will reflect on your expectations, deepen your understanding of the responsibilities and roles of the supervisor and doctoral student and develop solutions for difficult supervision situations.
- The third part is dedicated to your position in the scientific community and your relationship with your peers. You will deal with the topic of cooperation vs. competition and clarify the opportunities and challenges of "circulating" in the community at an early stage. Forms of collegial support such as peer coaching or success teams will also be introduced.
The aim of the workshop is to assess your own doctoral abilities beyond your professional expertise. By alternating between individual work, group exercises and plenary discussions, we create the basis for you to master the doctoral process without unnecessary frictional losses.
