A Beginner's Guide to Programming

A workshop offered by the Bonn Graduate Center

This is a Python programming workshop for beginners. Python is an interpreted programming language allowing programmers to fastly write good-readable code. In this workshop we will develop the skills for understanding Python syntax and we will talk about the most important concepts related to programming.

Description

Upon completion of the workshop, you will be able to understand and write your own simple programs in Python.

In order to fully benefit from the workshop, you will need a laptop running either Windows 8+ / Linux or the MacOS operating system. Alternatively, you could also use a tablet with a keyboard.

Whether you are a complete newbie to programming or have a very basic understanding in Python or another programming language, we are looking forward to you joining the workshop! The workshop is less suited for you, if you are already confident writing small programs on your own.
