A workshop offered by the Bonn Graduate Center
At the end of the doctorate, the question what happens afterwards arises, which job, which fields of activity and which organization could pose a possible career path. In this workshop you will identify your skills, interests and experiences and discover possible areas of activity in science, research management, the economy, in the public sector or perhaps also in self-employment.

Description
The aim of this workshop is to develop an individual application profile, ideas for a career goal and an application strategy. You will learn the structure and options of the job market and reflect on the individual competences, experiences, interests and preferences. You will formulate an individual application profile and a career goal and develop an application strategy. After presenting your profile, career goal and application strategy you will also receive and consider feedback from the trainer and the group members.

- Which career paths and areas of activity are there anyway?
- What requirements and framework conditions can I expect in business, in the public sector and in self-employment?
- What are my skills, interests and experiences?
- In which fields of activity are my individual skills and experiences required?
- Which personal preferences play a role in career planning?
- What is my individual application strategy?
