The Patentführerschein e-learning tool is a successful and unique educational opportunity for universities and companies with regard to the exploitation of patents and commercial property rights. Due to the high demand for training on this topic, the tool was revised and received a new layout and content in 2011. The current version of this e-learning tool, which has been implemented by PROvendis with support from the Institut für Informations-, Telekommunikations- und Medienrecht (ITM) is now online.
Users may, e.g., use the Online-Patentführerschein free of charge to acquire knowledge about patents and intellectual property rights at their own pace while they study or work. After spending about a total of 40 hours studying, individuals will receive their own qualification certificate (after passing two exams). Interested parties may use the trial access option and a sample test to learn more about the content of the Patentführerschein.
Target groups:
The Patentführerschein is suitable both for instructors as well as company employees; either target group will have customized units. But generally, the Patentführerschein is available to anyone, free of charge.
