  • Session 2 | Protect yourself from stress
  • Session 3 | Stress is a matter of mind
  • Session 4 | Manage stress effectively

Important note: Call for study participation
In order to evaluate the success of the stress management seminar scientifically, Healthy Campus Bonn would like to accompany the seminar series with an intervention study.
The study comprises the completion of various psychological questionnaires and the performance of a non-invasive stress level analysis.

Interested volunteers will be randomly assigned to the intervention group (seminar participation) or the control group (no seminar participation) by study personnel. During pre-test, participants will be told to which group they have been assigned to. Participants of the control group are welcome to register for the seminar series starting in SS2020.

When will the study take place?

  • Time frame for Pre-Test: two weeks before seminar series (October 14 till 25)
  • Time frame for Post-Test: two weeks after seminar series (December 02 till 13)
  • Time frame for Follow up: three month after last seminar session (End of February 2020)

Measurements take place on one self-selected day during the listed time frames for a period of approximately two hours. Interested volunteers will be contacted for appointments via e-mail.

Where will the study take place?
Alte Sternwarte, Poppelsdorfer Allee 47. Rooms will be notified via e-mail.

Who can participate?
Study participation requires the absence of psychological disorders (e.g. clinical depression) and diagnosed cardiac arrhythmia.
