Project and Time Management

December 12 and 13, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m., room Pegasus (0.003), Alte Sternwarte, Poppelsdorfer Allee 47, 53115 Bonn

Course content

Day one focusses on mid-term project planning, day two on calculating one´s own workload, setting priorities and organizing time on the level of daily and weekly routines. In this context participants reflect on their individual working style, learn how to deal with stress and with losses of motivation in the long run. All in all our approach is to demystify the process of a doctorate by seeing it manageable.

The workshop´s methods range from trainer input to individual project planning, group works and plenum discussions. The course is completed by a “Survival Kit PhD” where participants profit from sharing their experiences with peers and with the trainer.
