THE Ranking: University of Bonn in top 100 The Alma Mater ranks tenth place in Germany

In the newest Times Higher Education (THE) university ranking, Bonn's Alma mater is one of the top 100 worldwide. Of a total of 1102 institutions, the University of Bonn is ranked 100th internationally and in Germany takes 10th place.

"This result demonstrates once more that Bonn is one of the best universities in the world as well as within Germany" says University Rector Prof. Dr. Michael Hoch. The University of Bonn is ranked 100th from among 1102 institutions worldwide. In Germany, the Alma mater is one of the top ten universities, ranking 10th among 44 other listed universities. In North Rhine-Westphalia the University of Bonn ranks above the University of Cologne (international rank 145) and the University of Münster (international rank 173). RWTH Aachen takes 79th place internationally. 

Various indicators were collected for the ranking, including research, teaching, citations and internationality.
