Partnerships and International Researchers
Section 6.1, Partnerships and International Researchers, is in charge of maintaining existing collaborations and establishing new partnerships globally. This includes administrating cross-faculty collaboration agreements with more than 70 partner universities as well as advising individual faculties and institutes on new partner agreements, common international study programs and international proposals. In addition, the section is responsible for activities in international marketing, such as presenting the University at international university fairs.
The section is also in charge of coordinating the Study Abroad Programs for international students (e. g. Junior Year Program, direct exchange and short-term programs). The section is furthermore home to the Welcome Center, which is the central service desk for international researchers.
