The Institute of Geodesy and Geoinformation, Chair "Space Geodesy", is looking for a temporary position for a period of 3 years and in full time
Research Assistant
Institute of Geodesy and Geoinformation
One research focus of the Chair of “Space Geodesy” is the improvement of geodetic reference frames, which are determined from a combination of the four space geodetic techniques. Highly accurate and long-term stable reference frames are of paramount importance as a metrological basis for observing the Earth system, especially in times of climate change. Modelling deficiencies in the data analysis of the space geodetic techniques’ observations and remaining systematic effects continue to be major limitations in achieving the required reference frame accuracy.
