Starting in July 2025 and limited to a fixed term contract for 3 years (until end of project phase), the Institute for Food and Resource Economics, Faculty of Agriculture is seeking a 

PhD candidate for Consumer Behaviour and Food Choices (65 %)

Your tasks

  • Plan and conduct innovative research on obesity-related topics and food choices,
  • Publish research papers and articles in internationally visible journals,
  • Plan experiments, manage data collection, cooperate with scientific partners presentation and distribution of research results.

Your profile

  • A master's degree or equivalent in Agricultural-, Behavioural- or Neuroeconomics, Psychology or related disciplines
  • Experience with Experimental Designs,
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit,
  • Excellent oral and written English language and communication skills,
  • Nutritional Expertise is an asset,
  • German language skills would be a plus but are not required,
  • First success in academic publishing is an asset but not required,
  • Experience with statistical software packages is an asset but not required.
