Ringvorlesung Berufsperspektiven Altamerikanistik und Ethnologie

Since the summer semester of 2014, the Department of Ancient American Studies has offered a lecture series on the topic of "Career Prospects in Ancient American Studies and Ethnology", which has been held every 14 days in the winter semester since 2017.

The purpose of this lecture series is to introduce students to professional practice by providing an insight into possible occupational fields related to research in Ancient American Ethnology. The sessions of the lecture series are designed by graduates of the subject who talk about their professional vita and show career perspectives students as well as present the organization and working methods of selected professions (museums, development organizations, media and publishing, ethnological and archaeological research projects, tourism industry, science and culture management, etc.).
