Enhanced citizen preparedness in the event of a disaster

Projects’ results are expected to contribute to some of the following outcomes: Design of preparedness actions linking together multilevel interventions; Development of effective means for communication improving inter-organisational collaborative processes; Improved early warning systems, forecasts and strategies; Demonstration exercises to identify practices, test guidelines and communication strategies; Building a ‘culture of disaster preparedness’ ; Deployment of evidence-based assessment methods/models to monitor and strengthen emergency preparedness.
