DESCRIPTION:On Nov 5\, 2025\, students enrolled in the Agriculture (ZEF EC
 OL) module of the BIGS-DR doctoral program will visit the Campus Klein-Alt
 endorf\, one of the University of Bonn’s key experimental research sites
 . The visit\, hosted by Prof. Ralf Pude\, will take place from 9:00 a.m. t
 o 1:00 p.m. and will provide participants with first-hand insights into on
 going research on sustainable agricultural systems\, bio-based resources\,
  and innovative crop management practices. As part of the program\, Prof. 
 Thomas Heckelei will deliver an expert lecture introducing the PhenoRob Cl
 uster of Excellence\, which focuses on developing robotic and digital tech
 nologies to improve crop production and resource efficiency. The visit aim
 s to strengthen students’ understanding of interdisciplinary approaches 
 linking agricultural science\, technology\, and sustainability\, while off
 ering direct engagement with leading researchers in the field.
