DESCRIPTION:In this talk\, Prof. Santa Slokenberga from Uppsala University
  will provide an introduction to EU data protection law under the light of
  the EHDS (European Health Data Space). It is a brand-new legal framework\
 , adopted with a vision to realize the data economy policy aspirations set
  out in the European Strategy for Data. While it remains to be seen how th
 e EHDS will play out in practice and whether it will reach the policy ambi
 tions that the Commission has envisaged\, the implications for the right t
 o data protection are already present. This talk scrutinizes how the right
  to the protection of personal data is being shaped within the European He
 alth Data Space.
