DESCRIPTION:The aim of this workshop is to connect Prof. Dr. Andrew Feenbe
 rg’s thoughts on technology and politics to political movements for sust
 ainability\, environmental movements in particular. Core notions discussed
  will include ‘Technology as Embodied Politics’ and ‘Democratic Rati
 onalizations’\, as developed in Prof. Dr. Feenberg’s book "Questioning
  Technology" (1999). \n\nProf. Feenberg is a prominent figure of the empir
 ical turn in philosophy of technology. His approach\, Critical Constructiv
 ism\, provides a toolkit for assessing technology design in light of polit
 ical choice. His approach combines critical theory with a sociological con
 structivist lens on technology associated with Science and Technology Stud
 ies. \n\nAssociated with a public lecture on June 15.\n\nOpen to all acade
 mic researchers in the humanities of the University of Bonn\, with priorit
