 \n\nMost international funding organisations (research councils\, trusts a
 nd funds) have established research data management guidelines which speci
 fy how to handle and manage research data. The general expectation is that
  research data derived from publicly funded projects are a public good and
  therefore should be made available to the public with as few limitations 
 as possible. In this presentation we will explain the most important requi
 rements from third-party funders.\n\nThe Open Access & Research Data Servi
 ce Centers are continuing the Open Science Coffee Lectures in the summer s
