DESCRIPTION:Most academics negotiate several times a day. For women in aca
 demia\, these negotiations can be more challenging\, as societal expectati
 ons around female negotiators may hinder both their performance and outcom
 es. This workshop focuses on how women in academia can address these chall
 enges and learn to negotiate more successfully. The workshop combines prac
 tical exercises\, reflection\, and evidence-based theory\, offering partic
 ipants insight into the potential obstacles they may face in negotiations 
 and strategies to overcome them. Participants will also develop skills for
  creating and claiming value in negotiations. To ensure a smooth transitio
 n of these skills from the workshop context to their everyday lives\, they
  will engage in exercises that reflect the specific challenges they encoun
 ter in their daily work.
