DESCRIPTION:This workshop will provide an overview of the German academic 
 landscape\, including different stages of career progression in Germany an
 d their various requirements. In addition to providing a generalized overv
 iew\, the workshop will also explore gender-related and intersectional dyn
 amics (inclding social and ethnic background) in academia. Participants sh
 ould expect to reflect on their strengths and resources as (international)
  women scientists and to develop strategies to deal with gender inequality
  and intersectional disadvantages. The workshop will facilitate the co-cre
 ation of a safe space for women scientists as well as facilitate possible 
 networks among participants.\nA follow-up workshop will take place on Apri
 l 10th\, 2025. Participants may choose to attend both workshops as a serie
 s\, or to attend either one as a stand-alone event.
