 und: Carbon Farming has been heralded as a powerful approach to transform 
 agricultural landscapes into carbon sinks at global scale. However\, many 
 carbon farming techniques are knowledge-intensive or require new technolog
 ies to be adopted at relevant geographic scales\, others imply economic or
  environmental trade-offs and thus require appropriate incentive schemes. 
 Global carbon markets could become an important source of finance for prom
 ising models of carbon agriculture\, but tapping this potential comes with
  technical\, economic\, political\, and ethical challenges.
