POSTDOC DAY 2023: Creating Impact! SCIENCE & POLITICS

Scientific knowledge is of increasing importance, especially with regard to dealing with the multidimensional crises and "grand challenges" of our time, in order to find and implement e.g. suitable economic, sustainable, socially compatible, medical, ethical and political answers. But how does knowledge transfer between science and politics work? Who are the scientific policy advisors and how to become active in this field? What are the main challenges and limits? How much science can policy take - and vice versa? We will discuss these and further questions with highly renowned scientists from the University of Bonn who are actively involved in policy advice.The Postdoc Day is held under the patronage of the Vice-Rector for Research and Early-career Researchers Prof. Dr. Andreas Zimmer. It is organised annually by the Academic Career Development and is being hosted this year in cooperation with the Transfer Center enaCom.
