DESCRIPTION:This half-day  workshop focuses on practical\, directly applic
 able tools for strategic innovation management and strategy-led research &
  innovation (R&I) processes. \n\nConcepts such as Simple Rules for complex
  situations and Time Pacing will be briefly outlined theoretically and exp
 lained by means of application examples from applied research\, business o
 r public organizations\, before practical tools such as the "Time Pacing D
 iamond" and the "Ideas2Innovation-Funnel" will be presented and directly a
 pplied by the participants in associated exercises. Participants learn the
  basics of strategic innovation management and leave with practical and di
 rectly applicable tools.\n\nThis workshop for PhD students/PostDocs is par
 t of the Doctorate/Careers plus program and units can be acquired.\n(note:
  the workshop was initially scheduled for July 21 but had to be postponed 
 to Sept 23)
