This course aims to help you gain more confidence when interacting with other academics in the international university setting. Learning by doing, we will brush up your foreign language fluency to take part in international conferences, participate in project work, give presentations, read academic texts and write a first abstract in English.

Course Description

Becoming more and more important in the academic environment, the English language can be particularly demanding for non-native speakers. This course aims to help you gain more confidence when interacting with other academics in the international university setting. Learning by doing, we will brush up your foreign language fluency to take part in international conferences, participate in project work, give presentations, read academic texts and write a first abstract in English.

  • Apply different reading techniques to read academic texts effectively
