Ignite your entrepreneurial spirit! In this two-day innovation workshop, tailored to researchers of all disciplines, you will discover your entrepreneurial skills. Guided by professional innovation coaches, you will develop ideas for a potential business case in small groups.

Description
Get to know entrepreneurship as an alternative path to your academic career. Reflect on your own failure and learning journey and think about how to consolidate and develop your personal entrepreneurial skill set.
You will learn about user groups and the network of stakeholders that surround
you and your research. Why could they benefit from your research? Brainstorm potential use cases and help each other to take your ideas to the next level. Develop your pitch
storyline and receive feedback from our experts and an interdisciplinary team of peers.
This workshop is offered in collaboration with Young Entrepreneurs in Science - an interactive workshop programme for PhDs and postdocs to help you ignite your
entrepreneurial spirit! Together with your peers, you will learn methods and skills to realise your innovative potential.
Admission is free and no previous knowledge is required.

Please note that the workshop will take place in Cologne!

- Get to know the concept of entrepreneurship, reflect on your own potential and exchange with entrepreneurs
- Develop or extend potential use cases based on your research & network
- Build your own pitch with a convincing storyline and practise your presentation skills
Creditable for the Micro Credential 'Innovation & Entrepreneurship'
Micro Credentials for doctoral students offer the opportunity to systematically add key future skills to your professional expertise. You can apply for a Micro Credential if you successfully complete at least four workshops from one area of expertise.
