Description

Scientific projects and their management often entail challenging team dynamics between cooperation and competition. The more diverse the individuals are on the team, the more unexpected stumbling blocks seem to pop up and hinder the shared success of the project.

In this workshop, you will learn about the unique dynamics of scientific projects, important aspects of classic and/or agile project management, team development, and the complexities and great potential of diverse individuals in scientific collaborative work.

This workshop provides you with self-awareness, knowledge, practical skills and competences of diversity-conscious interaction and communication as well as fostering a healthy team-structure and project-development for a shared, scientific success.

Method:
Highly interactive workshop, learning with and from each other in group work, plenum discussions and individual exercises as well as from scientifically based input by the trainer. Your experiences and exemplary critical incidents will be our starting points to understand, reflect upon and develop solutions and alternative ways of working in diverse scientific project teams and practice diversity-conscious communication and teamwork.
