- Understanding different strategies for negotiations including the Harvard Method
- Using and interpreting body language, facial expressions and gestures
- How to use anchor setting, negotiation techniques and stratagems constructively
- Negotiating effectively in critical situations
- Understanding the manipulations of the counterpart and learning to deal with them
- Consolidating negotiation successes
- Learning from negotiations
Course Description
Being able to negotiate successfully is an important skill, but one that is rarely taught in university education. In this workshop you will learn important strategies and tools for successful negotiations, especially in the context of business. This includes using effective communication and negotiation techniques that work even under critical circumstances, coping with negative emotions and stress in the process and how to secure the results of negotiations. A great deal of focus is placed on examples, case studies and practical exercises.
