Course Description

The achievements and expertise of scientists are underrepresented in science communication, both in traditional and digital media. The change in the media landscape in recent years offers good opportunities for scientists to take part in public debates about science and actively communicate their own topics and interests to the public. Blogs and social media are ideal channels for this.

How can you benefit from the active use of social media and what rules have to be observed when communicating online? How can you strengthen your own online profile?
