Course Description
Breaking down complex scientific topics for a broader non-academic audience is often a challenge. But, especially YouTuber and YouTube Channels like Mark Rober, Today I Found Out, AsapScience, Numberphile and many more, have shown us for years, that there are millions of viewers, who enjoy learning more and understanding things. And even if you do not want to necessarily start your own YouTube channel, your websites and social media will benefit from well done videos. For example, search engines will rate hits with videos higher, it will give you a more professional look for your websites and social media and also your targeted audience will easier connect to you and your science - text can seem daunting, when videos suggests a much easier approach. The best thing about all that is, with your Smartphone and a Laptop (PC or Mac), you probably may already have everything you need to make well done videos by yourself!
In this workshop you will learn how to produce, shoot and edit good videos. Only requirement is an actual smartphone and a Laptop (PC) or Mac able to run DaVinci Resolve in its latest version. Resolve is a free editing software.
