German Language (DaF) A1.2
A workshop offered by the Bonn Graduate Center in cooperation with the International Office.
This competence-based and action-oriented language course is aimed at graduates who want to cope with everyday life in German and, in particular, want to become competent in academic and work situations.
The course is co-financed by STIBET-funds from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

Certificate
Participants who complete the entire course will receive a certificate confirming their attendance at the end of the semester.

Course Content
Participants will attain the level A1.2 of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference) and after completing the course will be able to:
-
cope with familiar everyday situations with basic and pre-packaged formulations and sentences,
-
react to simple questions,
-
communicate in simple tasks, provided the other person speaks slowly,
-
read short, simple sentences with familiar vocabulary and basic grammar,
-
write basic texts.

Development of social and intercultural communicative competence in the target language, strengthening of learner autonomy and media competence.

Requirements
Upon successful registration, your German language skills will be tested via the onSET online language placement test. The German as a Foreign Language Section will send you a TAN to conduct the placement test. Based on your score, you will assigned to the course suiting your language level.
