Content
Digitization is changing day-to-day research practices across all fields of academic inquiry. Research data of every kind are collected, processed, analyzed, published and archived in digital systems. The term Research Data Management (RDM) refers to a range of activities and topics relating to the handling of digital research data.
Except for microphone and webcam, no technical equipment or prior knowledge is required for this online lecture.

Speakers
Dr. Christian Bittner works at the Research Data Service Center. He is a certified Data Librarian and interested in the digitalization of society and academia, with a particular focus on issues of open science and digital maturity. He manages the service RDMO and our website and functions as coordinator and contact person at the Service Point for inquiries relating to the RDM in the social sciences and the humanities.
Dr. Ewa Bres works at the Research Data Service Center and is interested in Open Science, scientific misconduct, good research practice and scientific photography. At the Service Center, she manages the service RADAR and is a contact person for inquiries related to the natural and life sciences as well as training.
