Description

This three-part peer group offers a space for doctoral researchers to reflect on their experiences together and explore ways to strengthen their sense of self-empowerment during the doctorate. Through guided reflection, practical impulses, and exchange with peers, you will explore what strengthens you, what tends to hold you back, and how to approach challenges with greater awareness and confidence.

Sessions (3 × 2 hours):

  • Identifying & Managing Challenges
Recognizing mental stressors such as self-doubt or perfectionism and exploring
approaches like mindfulness, resilience, and a growth mindset.
  • Motivation & Personal Strengths
Reflecting on what drives us, and discovering personal strengths that can support
us through challenging phases of the PhD.
  • Handling Pressure From Within
Understanding patterns like perfectionism and critical self-talk while cultivating self-
compassion and healthier expectations toward ourselves.
