We will explore key questions such as:
- What are the different ways to fund a doctorate?
- What are the advantages and disadvantages of scholarships, research positions, and
other employment options? - Who are the main scholarship providers, and how do you apply successfully?
The main focus of the workshop will be on doctoral scholarships, including practicalm tips for identifying funding opportunities and preparing strong applications. Additionally, we will provide a brief overview of support programs for doctoral candidates offered by the University of Bonn (note: these are not full scholarships).
Whether you're at the beginning of your planning or already exploring funding options, this workshop will equip you with the knowledge to make informed decisions about financing your doctoral journey.
Please note that the content of the workshop is of a general nature and cannot go into detail on specific disciplines. The workshop also does not cover scholarships for the final phase of doctoral studies.
