  • Lernforum Deutsch is an intercultural site for
    foreign college students who learn German - and for their teachers.

The reason is simple.  Many foreign students come to us with a background in English as a second or third language.  Their way to learning German is via the English language.

  • We believe that web-sites with content in both languages German and English can be very helpful for these students.

And we believe that the interest of today`s students should be developed into a global perspective; this means, that worldwide problems and trends are understood as issues of one world.

  • Such a perspective must be shared by all, regardless of which languages are being learnt.  This will enhance the motivation for learning.  The goal is to understand what is different and what binds us together as human beings so that we can develop with mutual respect a world in peace.
